Prices went up, even wIth a coupon expect to pay over $9 bucks for the food. A drink is very expensive like $2.59. Only go here with a coupon because its not worth $9 bucks. That being said, they are running a berry theme for the month of June, Strawberry lemonade, strawberry sugar free mousse , strawberry salad dressing. All tasted great, they also had some items with raspberry which were good too. Beyond those the salad is a good option, the bread and soups and pasta section to me the food is never that good. I don't know what they do to the bread but just about all the bread selections I don't like, and I love bread. They even have some bread made up to look like pizza but I don't like it. The muffins are hit and miss, not much taste to them except the brownie muffin. The fake ice cream is actually pretty good if you put some other items on it. At the current cost structure they will see less of me and my family. Every time we go here we feel like we got ripped off even with a coupon.

I had high hopes for a restaurant that boasts a large salad bar. But it failed for us specifically for a few different reasons. First, when you walk in, no one greets you. There are two lines of salad bar, completely the same. Just grab a tray and plate and begin assembling your salad. Easy enough. BUT, when you get to the end of the line and pay, you have to wait to be seated by someone. This wouldn't be a problem if there were enough seats. Unfortunately, there are not. So, now you're standing there with your food in hand (and your kids' food too), blocking the aisle/walkway, waiting for a table. Other people who have also paid for their food are quickly joining you in waiting for their own tables. It's a HUGE problem that needs to be addressed. I mean, if there aren't enough tables for everyone to sit at DO NOT let more people go through the line, only to wait at the end, holding heavy trays of food, blocking aisles, and trying to keep their children out of everyone's way. Second, the items on the various bars are not labeled for the allergy conscious. A nice, simple GF (gluten-free) or DF (dairy-free) would be great on the salad and soup bars! Or allergy warnings like "Contains Dairy/Soy/Gluten/Peanuts/etc" wouldn't be hard to do. Third, there isn't enough protein on the salad bar. The most you'll get are some blended up hard-boiled eggs. Or, if you can safely eat an already assembled "Featured" salad located at the beginning of the bar, you may find a bit of chicken in it. Otherwise, don't count on getting your protein here. On a positive note, my kids did enjoy eating a variety of foods, since they have no allergy concerns. Bottom line: If you have no food allergies, and aren't concerned about the amount of protein you consume, give it a try. Otherwise, steer clear.

This used to be a long time Friday evening trip for my wife and me. It got to the point that the server in the area we sat in saved a table for us, and that wins huge points. The place generally gets crowded, but always a satisfying visit.

I'm giving Sweet Tomatoes 4 stars as a whole. I've always enjoyed eating there. However, this review is strictly for their brunch option--an option I'd only rate 3 stars. Here's why: Kicking off on Sunday's at 9 am, you can hit up this salad bar for some pretty decent breakfast. You walk in and where they usually keep their freshly made Caesar salad are bowls instead filled with a variety of cereals. Moving down the line you walk by all their regular veggies and salad fixins in case you want to get that ruffage on early in the AM. Paying at the register--we used a coupon. Buy one (as well as two drinks) get the second for a buck. After that deal the total still came to over 15 bucks. Seemed a bit steep. The drinks are close to $2.50 a piece and one adult breakfast is about $10.00. At a regular breakfast buffet I'd say that's par for the course, but Sweet Tomatoes isn't a regular breakfast buffet. Their selection, while quite scrumptious, is pretty limited. After paying and finding a seat you make your way to the soup area. There they had some tortillas next to scrambled eggs with onions, potatoes and herbs for seasoning mixed in. Cheese diced onions and crumbled bacon bits as well to construct a breakfast burrito, Next door some home fries, biscuits and sausage gravy. Down the line where you usually find their sweet baked goods were some muffins, a Mexican breakfast bake (which was pretty damn tasty actually) and some cheese focacia. At the end where you find the pasta, they had a Mediterranean breakfast selection as well as regular scrambled eggs. Lastly, there was a made to order omelet station. No bacon or sausage links, no toast or hash browns. Limited fruit, just limited everything really. All that I ate, I liked. It's just, there's not a whole lot to try and that's why I'd only rank it at 3 stars. I don't think I'll be going back for Sunday Brunch at Sweet Tomatoes in the future, gonna keep my visits limited to salad gorging suppers only.

Came on a busy saturday lunch and everything was very fresh. A number of items were obviously just prepared and you could tell. This made everything taste delicious. Managers were super friendly and joking with the kids. The rest of the staff was pretty happy also.

If you are a fan of unlimited salad then this is the place for you. I guess it's OK to jack up the prices when it's a buffet. I had a coupon and it still came out to $10 for lunch. It's not just salad, they do have a variety of items, from pizza to baked potatoes. I think there was at least 6 different types of soup and a chili. They have ice cream and various other types of dessert. I had a salad (lol), some cornbread and some other wholegrain bread. The wholegrain bread was the best part. I probably could have eaten $10 worth of bread. I'm not a fan only because I'm not a buffet type person. Doesn't mean I wouldn't recommend everyone to try it at least once. Also arm yourself with a coupon. I printed my online, but they are usually in the Sunday papers.

If you've never been, Sweet Tomatoes features an all-you-can-eat (huge) salad bar along with a variety of soups, breads, and other dishes. It's about $10 per person and one of the only "healthy all-you-can-eat" restaurants I can think of. This particular Sweet Tomatoes had a rather odd layout. I think the space was under renovations but the various food stations were rather spread out. The salad bar was at the entrance of the restaurant and it was a little difficult to make return trips (it didn't deter us) and then the soup seemed to be over in a corner. Maybe they were trying to incorporate some exercise into multiple trips to the different sections of the restaurant? The quality of the food was consistent with every other trip I've had to Sweet Tomatoes. The vegetables on the salad bar tasted very fresh and there was great variety. And I always enjoy trying the different pre-made salads they provide, particularly the Wonton Chicken Happiness salad, which makes me very happy. There was also a nice selection of soups, and I thought the Red Beans & Rice stew was the standout. And with it being an all-you-can-eat setup, you can try anything you want and not worry about whether or not you like it. It's always a lot of fun for Nicole and I - giving us an excuse to be adventurous eaters on a budget.

I've never been a huge buffet or salad fan but after a recent visit to a place that specializes in both I've decided Sweet Tomatoes is really a decent place to catch a quick meal. I like the variety and just about everything I tried was pretty good. I liked the variety of lettuce and pasta salads they offer, especially the Asian salad which was delicious. I filled my plate on the first bar before I realized that there was MORE in back. There is a hot pasta area with cheese bread, soups and dessert. The sweet potato bisque was good and the warm apple cobbler al la mode was a great ending to the meal. Although not great it is definitely a step up for your traditional buffet places. Staff was friendly and the place was spotless. The server they had working the dining room filled our drinks before we could even sit and at the end of the meal a lady was bringing around fresh, WARM chocolate chip cookies! For all that food prices are reasonable. Dinner runs about $9.79 but you can save a dollar with a coupon from the newspaper. And did you know they have Sunday brunch too?

I love Sweet Tomatoes as the food is consistently good at multiple locations. I've been to both in the Orlando area and have to say I prefer the one on East Colonial Drive. I'm a people watcher and there isn't enough interesting characters at this location in Altamonte Springs. It's in a strip mall so there is a different customer base. If you want a more family style atmosphere or you have a large group, this is perfect as it's a lot quieter.

I have been eating at this Sweet Tomatoes for almost a decade now, and up until this year, it has been a great place to eat quickly and healthy. HOWEVER, my last visit made me swear an oath that I would never go there again. The only good thing about the experience was the salad, which I made myself. It was the weekend, so it appeared they had a lot of teenagers working, most of which were bantering and horsing around. They had some sort of sea food gumbo in which the meat was not cooked through. The broccoli in their broccoli and cheese soup was raw like they had cooked the soup and thrown in some broccoli just before setting it on the buffet. The penne marinara on their pasta bar was severely undercooked to the point that it crunched in the middle. Their "dessert/fruit" bar which normally contains a bowl of pudding, jello, cottage cheese and various sliced fruits contained one bowl of sliced oranges, red jello and 5 bowls of sliced lemons. I don't know about you, but I can never get enough sliced fresh lemons for dessert. Needless to say, I will not be visiting this particular Sweet Tomatoes ever again.

It's all what you make of it. Never have I been to one so busy! I always enjoy entering Sweet Tomatoes but upon leaving, I always question why I came... Buffets are just not for me anymore.

This Sweet Tomatoes location opened up when I was in High School (I won't tell you how long ago that was) :)...so I've been dining here for years. The food is standard for the Sweet Tomatoes brand (variety is salads, soups, breads, pizza, pasta and desserts). Very tasty and they always have what I want. My favorite salad is their Chinese Chicken Salad...have been a fan of it forever. They do have very friendly employees, as well. And heir prices are affordable...especially since it's all you can eat. :) Ok...there's not a lot of "meat", except for chicken and ground beef in their soups, but you still feel very full after eating here. Overall...looking for a place where there's something for everyone? Here you go.

Went for #brunch. Had a great coupon, love thier email club #ClubVeg. Enjoyed an outstanding sausage and cheddar omelet, and some crispy baked home fries topped with rich sausage gravy. They even had my fav #tabasco sauce on the bar for my eggs! Good food and a good time. Check em out soon!

What happened?! The prepared salads had an overall good taste but the bowls were just about empty. I had to scrape the bottom of the bowl of the strawberry summer salad (which is what I came for) to get a little bit of every ingredient. As for the build-a-salad ingredients, there were lots of options from cheeses and meats to fresh veggies and dried fruits. The soups were plentiful. They offered Irish potato and leak soup, Chili, and classics like vegetable soup. Toppings included onion, sour cream, salsa, chips, cheese, and more. The wheat bread was just awful. Simple as that. It was old, it was stale, and flavorless. The strawberry, blueberry, and chocolate muffins were so hard, I opened mine up and just ate the insides. It was the only part that was moist. I was so disappointed. Overall this trip was a huge difference from the last time I was here. I always come in for lunch and have never had this issue before. I wonder what happened. Such a shame. =(

I love Sweet Tomatoes! It is conveniently located walking distance from my apartment. The staff has been there for years with the exception of a few new faces. Everyone is polite and very helpful! Kudos to the bussers, they do an excellent job! And wonderful food. Forever a favorite!

The salads have been good the few times I have went. Same with the soups and bread. The pasta, eh not so much. But I just have a problem with this concept in general. A healthy buffet? It's not healthy to overeat! Also it's a bit pricey. I'd rather just grab a soup and a salad somewhere else that's less crowded and not at a buffet.

My family has enjoyed Sweet Tomatoes for years, and that's why we are so disappointed that we will not be going back :o( We regularly planned family dinner nights at Sweet Tomatoes using their spectacular family dinner coupons (24.99 for a family of 4: 2 adults and 2 children). However, my oldest turned thirteen recently and he no longer qualifies for the children's salad bar price. I asked the manager if he would allow us to use the coupon and just charge us the difference for the adult plate and he refused, telling us that we could take advantage of the other dinner coupon's. Yeah, I checked out the other coupon's and my family would have ended up paying close to $40.00 dollars for four salad bars. If you do the math, that's almost a 15 dollar hike in price! Yikes! We went to Jason's Deli instead. Sweet Tomatoes, you will be missed- but not enough to pay 15 additional dollars for one kid.

I love this place! There are so many options for your salads, not to mention all of the other sides you can have. Their blueberry muffins were ESPECIALLY good, and they had at least six soups to choose from, too (the broccoli cheese was yummy). In addition to being full of variety, it was so clean. Our plates were taken away quickly, and the staff were so friendly and answered any questions we had. Will be back!

Sweet Tomatoes is a buffet of salads, soups, breads and deserts. I absolutely love this place and this particular location in my opinion is the best. When you walk in, your greeted by an enormous amount of selections. All types of salads with all the fixings one can imagine. Grab a tray and go to town! Once your done making a monster plate of a salad, you'll be greeted by the cashier to pay. Once your done your greeted by yet another buffet filled with all types of breads and butters, an array of soups, baked potatoes that you can load, sweet potatoes and several different kinds of spaghettis. Every month they have a cool campaigns like Greek month, where they'll feature Greek inspired food or like Mexico, where they'll feature an Awesome taco buffet with all the fixings. Meat here is scarce. So Meat Loves you've been warned. Vegans, you'll have a tough time figuring out what's safe for you to eat.... this is mostly vegetarian stuff with the occasional meat or chicken on few items. I've been a patron of this specific location for a number of years now and I frequent at least one a week. Everyone is extremely nice, the place is so clean and I love how I can pig out (un- button the jeans) and make excuses because it was healthy stuff. TIP: this place always have coupons online. Buy one get one, 20% off etc. I never go without my coupon - no need to clip, they can scan directly from your smart device. Sit in Gabe's section - he's the best.

One of the 'go-to' spots in my Orlando restaurant repertoire, Sweet Tomatoes offers a consistently fresh and varied offering of creative pre-made and custom salad options along with several great soups, breads, and desserts. If you're looking to do a lighter lunch or dinner *your* way this the place for you.

I'm kinda on the fence with this place. It wasn't bad. The salad bar was well stocked and fresh. We were trying to make our way through it and there was one lady in front of us, but she was fundraising her way through the line and every couple of seconds she would completely stop and be yammering at the employees. UGH!!! My husband told me to move around her, but there were 4 of us and I figured that would be kinda rude. I guess the jokes on me. I wasn't terribly impressed with the soups. There were a lot of them, but I really only had a desire to try 2 of them. I sampled the tomato soup and the clam chowder. The chowder was simply ok, I didn't really care for the tomato soup at all. It was just missing something, maybe that sweetness that I enjoy in my tomato soup. I don't know, I just found it to be very boring. The chowder was creamy and nice, I added bacon to mine which brought up the salt level. The breads were delish. They had a macaroni and cheese bread that I thought was fantastic and clever. The bread didn't have macaroni on it, but it did have cheese and the cracker crumble that homemade macaroni and cheese has, and lots of it. It was this crunchy, salty, cheesy, soft breaded goodness that is such a unique combo that I fell in love with it on the spot. I have to mention that I got a baked sweet potato and that poor little thing had been charred to a crisp. The foil and the bottom of the potato were blackened and it ruined the whole potato. Sad. I shall mourn that poor little sweet potato.... it was so young, take me instead!!!! The dessert options left me wanting. I didn't care for much of any of it. The "ice cream" tasted more like ice milk, the brownie was sitting in this sauce that tasted thin and non fatty. I get it, it's healthy. Healthy desserts suck. That wasn't a brownie, it was a frownie. It made me frown. Overall, the place was clean and the salad bar had lots of options. If you are in to the whole health scene, this is the place for you. I'm waiting for Cracker Barrel to open up a buffet place, so you can just guess where I fall on the whole healthy subject. My biggest complaint was the entry set up, needing to drag my purse along the salad bar (it was a weird set up) before even getting to just be seated. I did NOT like that. Additionally getting stuck behind that woman who was trying to multitask and would not step aside, my issue here was the employees that LET her do this. If you want to donate to her cause, awesome, take a break and go talk to her... OUT of the line. Hungry Teri is a GRUMPY Teri.

An update to my previous review. This place got remodeled and I feel everything got much better with my last visit a week ago. I don't think it's overpriced for all these wonderful veggies full with enzymes. I absolutely love it!! The Sunday Brunch is great too with so many different eggs. I don't think I can live in a city without Sweet Tomatoes haha :P Good job to the manager for improving this location, definitely better experience than few years ago.

I personally love this place after a good workout. Its a buffet, but mostly health food. I can eat many plates and not feel too guilty lol. They switch up the soups but the rest of the items typically remain the same. Its primarily salad, potatoes, kind of pizza like items, pastas, breads, and a wide assortment of drinks. They always have coupons which help. The people who work there are always really friendly and very nice. Overall I would not expect a 5 star dining experience but for a quick, affordable, and tasty buffet I highly suggest you at least try it out. Yummmyyyy.

Salad, soup, pasta, bread, AND dessert at a place that claims to be a salad buffet? This place is a dream! To be totally honest, I don't expect much from chain buffets that offer a boat load of food, but I wasn't disappointed. I was very surprised at the selection that was available at the salad station. I loaded my plate with fresh, leafy greens, veggies, and even some protein! The variety was awesome and everything was fairly fresh. I was also pretty impressed by the wide selection of salad dressings you could choose from. I also made sure to get some soup and pasta and some of the breads that they had freshly made. Everything was delicious! Lastly, I wasn't gonna miss the soft serve... Admit it, you love soft serve ice cream with all the fixings. The service was good and there were waitresses that regularly came around to clear our area from all of our plates. The dining area was so clean because the waitresses were so diligent and made sure to make tables available for the customers that would come in next. Anyways, this place is very reasonably priced for a great and healthier alternative to a buffet!

This place has a funky, musty odor that they try to cover up with Carpet Fresh. Not much of a variety at the salad line but the muffins are great. Most of the staff are polite but I took my daughter one time on a chilly January day and the host tried to seat us in a booth by the exit door. I asked if we could move since I did not want to get a blast of cold air every time someone opened the door and he got snotty with me and said that the tables were "all reserved for large parties only - I'm not allowed to seat a party of two at a table." Wrong! The customer is always right! I picked up and moved to an empty two-person table and he kept giving me dirty looks every time he walked by. The prices are kind of high and they now have smaller plates too. Give this one a miss.

Well I have gone to Sweet Tomatoes a couple of times now, but hesitated because of the reviews I have read. I learned about the coupons so went one day and I'm hooked! like the ending of a survivor episode they through the hook at you at the end, so you watch next time. Same here. I hate leaving the place.

Sweet tomatoes is great for any lunch or dinner time outing where fresh vegetables and soup is what you're looking for. This particular location was not the greatest experience overall, but still pretty good. Maybe just an older restaurant with a layout that is not very open. Visited on a weeknight when the crowd was not too bad, service was good. I really like Sweet Tomatoes but might try a different location if there is time.

One of my favorite places to eat. I'm a vegetarian so that may be part of it but I've never had a bad experience. It may not be for the meat and potatoes kind of person. I always eat more than I should and everything seems to be fresh and taste good. Hope you enjoy!

This is one of my sons and I favorite places. They have a different variety as well as some staples you can always count on. There is almost always a coupon you can find in the paper as well. I love their soup and fresh salads. My son says they have the best macaroni cheese.

I've been here several times over the years, and I gotta say it seems like this restaurant chain is becoming more and more bland- well, it might just be this location, but still. Anyway, onto the price. One thing that's awesome about this place is that at least once a month they have coupons, such as BOGO Free Sunday Breakfast or $10 dinner buffet. If there's something huge going on, like a holiday or something, expect there to be more coupons. Now to the actual prices of the meals. I'm actually not 100% positive on how they are without coupons since whenever I go there I use them, but last I went (which was on March 14th for dinner), we used a 20% off coupon and each meal came up to a little over $10. I remember years ago they used to be $10 WITHOUT the aid of coupons. And the reason why I'm making such a big deal about the price is because at the end of the day the quality of the food is basic and bland. Yes it's a buffet and yes buffets usually value quantity over quality, but most of their items are terribly bland. One time, for a limited time only, they had this lemon theme going on where the 2-4 new dishes had lemon in it. I like lemon-y food, so I tried them all, and...No. No thank you. The pasta was basically hot lemon juice with some pasta thrown in there. The only thing I liked from the last visit was this cookie bar desert they have. I don't know if that's limited too, but I hope not. Now the main reasom why I'm giving this location a 1-star (instead of a 2) is because the when I went last week they had so many dishes that were dirty. And I dont mean one or two tiny specks of left over food. No, I mean some of the cups had big 'ol splatters of whatever it was on them. At one point my brother got up to get some soup only to find the 12 or so soup bowls they had near there were ALL dirty. ALL of them. I even found 2 or 3 of the small plates to be dirty! It's the mixure of the lack of cleanliness and the (basically overpriced) bland food that will keep me from going back.

pizza, salad, soup. good stuff. and i way prefer the altamonte location to the colonial location. better layout, newer, better service, and much cleaner, so far as i've observed. a lot of the food is a bit on the bland side, but there are some great things that are spot on and I find myself eating those whenever I go.

Loved the yankee clipper clam chowder - it was so creamy and had lots of bits of clam. I had two servings of it. The fresh ceaser salad was just put out and the intense parmesan cheese was good. As always the wonton chicken salad with the green onion, small slices of chicken and mishmosh of veggies took up an entire plate. So yummy! I enjoyed three glasses of the lemonade before calling it a meal. Join their website and they email you 15% and 20% off coupons which I keep in my purse for whenever the urge too eat healthier hits.

It is always nice to have a somewhat "healthy" option in the buffet realm, and Sweet Tomatoes seems to really try to do this. I really enjoy their Won-Ton Chicken Happiness salad there, and they do have plenty of toppings to make your own if you choose. The buffet itself, outside of salad, has some interesting soup varieties, and I enjoy how they tend to change the theme each month or so to ensure you don't get tired of the same old thing. Where I feel they fall short though is actual taste of some of their food. The soups honestly leave something to be desired, and many that I have thought would just be great end up being meh. Same goes for the pasta station, where it just seems that whatever they tend to cook up over there just always feels so under seasoned. I know, it might be picky for a buffet, but it is what it is. Finally, the cost tends to make going here often prohibitive. They do have coupons, but over the years they have scaled back the value of those, in combination with raising their prices here and there. Overall, we love to go here when we want to eat buffet style in a reasonably healthy way, but would frequent the place more often if prices were a bit lower.

Who rated this restaurant as cheap? You gotta be kidding me. It cost me $40 for two adults a child to eat salad! I could have had a huge steak with a salad bar thrown in on the side for that price! I'll grant you, the food is good, but not $40 good. The salad tasted great. The breads and soups were good. Other than the ridiculous price, the mac-n-cheese would be my only other complaint. It was bland, soupy and tasteless. (Who messes up mac-n-cheese?) Sweet Tomatoes reminds me of a Golden Corral buffet that is missing 90% of the usual tasty and fattening foods. I'm not sure what the real draw is for Sweet Tomatoes, since the restaurant was packed with people when I was there, but they have some how been able to con people into buying expensive salads. I guess if Starbucks can sell $5 cups of coffee, then Sweet Tomatoes can sell $40 salads. There is no way you could ever get me back inside another Sweet Tomatoes until they lower their price by about 75%

  • Tammy S.

I will say they have Catalina dressing here which is great because in Wisconsin where I am from it's a staple but in Florida you don't find it as often. Otherwise I'm a picky eater so not fair for me to comment on the selections. Salad bar was good. Nothing I wanted was missing. Warm bread was available. Hot pasta I did not try. There were probably 6 soups available but I didn't like any of them ( cuz I'm picky) so I did not try them. I do like a good salad bar though. I miss the days of ponderosa and bonanza steakhouse. It was kid friendly if you have kids that will eat salad and not expect chicken nuggets or hotdogs.

Ok, sorry food! When I walked in and saw how the bar looked, I decided that Sweet Tomatoes would not be for me.... JS ate salad and soup- I snuck a bowl of soup and some bread. The chunky chicken soup sucked as well as the cornbread. So I decided to sneak a Sprite in my water glass.... That was the only good thing there!! Won't go back here.

I've only gone to the Sweet Tomatoes location in Altamonte Springs, and I've liked it everytime I've gone there. We usually go during the busy times, even though we know there will be long lines. This is usually Saturday lunch & dinner, and Sunday lunch. Due to the volume of people, I believe that their food items are fresher. They have to keep tossing the pre-tossed salads, they have to keep making the pastas, they have to keep baking more breads and muffins, and stirring more soups. Therefore, the times that I have gone, all the food have been delicious. I especially love the muffins. The tops are so huge sometimes and they've usually been fresh off the oven so they literally melt in your mouth. Their cornbread is also really good when it's fresh off the oven and you know this is not some lousy cornbread because they actually have corn chunks in them. My friends love their soups, but I usually stay away from them because I don't want to fill my stomach with liquids when I can fill them with solid food instead. Their pastas are okay, not the greatest. And my favorite salad is the Won Ton Chicken Happiness. The one qualm I have is the fact that they don't have rainbow sprinkles for their ice cream. What's up with that? I just think they look better, you know what I mean?

An incident occured last night around 8:20pm or so while I and a friend were dining at the Sweet Tomatoes in Altamonte Springs location. An older gentleman was trying to get out of his seat and the rear chair legs were stuck/caught on the ground, and he fell straight back, hitting his head on the ground. Everyone gasped, and his family (large family) went to his aid to help him up. What AMAZED me was that NO MANAGER came out to assess the situation, offer condolences/sorry/etc, or even file a report. NOTHING. What kind of "MANAGEMENT" is this?! : LAUGHABLE MANAGEMENT. If that family plans to sue, i hope they get every single penny from this place. I won't be returning to this location, or ANY Sweet Tomatoes locations. Shame on you Sweet Tomatoes. (and if anyone FROM Sweet Tomatoes reads this, they will probably NOT believe it, or say "that never happened!", probably because NO ONE WAS THERE.)

YUM! I love the concept and everything about this place. It's like a salad bar on steriods.... They have pre-prepared salads you can select or build your own. Their veggies have always been super fresh when I go, and the salad bar is always full and clean. They have much more than salad though. They have a large soup bar, baked potatoe bar, pasta bar, bread bar. Everything. It's not just salad. It's quick, easy, and delicious. The parking is tough though....but it's worth it!

I enjoy eating at Sweet Tomatoes every couple of months. My wife would eat here every day if she could. Once you get familiar with the items on the buffet you know what is good (Chinese Chicken Salad, fresh veggies, beets, peppers, squash, garbanzos, kidney beans, sunflower seeds) and what could be better (cottage cheese, tomatoes, oddly enough). Their corn bread and blueberry muffins are very nice. I enjoy sampling the soups, some of which are different every month. Avoid the pastas, they always disappoint with gummy texture and weak seasoning. The focaccia pizza is pretty lame as well. So, when your body tells you it's time to load up on salad and soup, head for Sweet Tomatoes.

I'm a weekly customer of this location. There is so much variety on salads, pastas and soups, you can eat something different every time you go. You can choose from a few prepared salads or you can make your own. The best chicken noodle soup! I agree that the only problem with this location is the parking lot. Their East Orlando, I-Drive and Disney locations don't have parking problems.

I don't know what these other people are talking about -- my wife and I love this place! There is so much variety, you can eat something different every time you go. You can choose from a few pre-prepared salads (which change every few weeks) or you can make your own. They have several great pastas, an incredible variety of soups, and the desserts -- my god, the desserts! I would go just for the desserts (as a matter of fact, we usually sneak muffins out in my wife's purse). The only thing keeping me from giving this particular Sweet Tomatoes a 5/5 is the parking. It's atrocious. And don't even think about parking in the shopping center next to the restaurant; it's a tow-away zone.

We went there for lunch on a Monday 09/17/2012 and the parking lot was packed. The price was $8.69 plus drinks. Water is free, all other drinks look to cost about $2.50. To me $12 to eat all you want is a deal especially when Wendy's cost $20 for 2 and McD costs $7 each for hamburger/drink/fries. The service was fine, our server was there within 2 minutes of a dish being cleared, and the buffet attendants were keeping everything clean and were all cheerful. We enjoyed the visit.

Bad Food and even though its an all u can eat buffet is way over priced. Employees are OK but not exactly friendly enough. Food Quality- (out of 5 stars) 1 Atmosphere ( out of 5 stars) 2 Service ( out of 5 stars) 1
